New Site, New Journey | Shibeikang’s New R&D Building Officially Opens, Ushering in a New Chapter of International Growth

On August 12, Chengdu Shibeikang Biomedical Technology Co., Ltd. held a relocation ceremony in Chengdu to mark the official opening of its new R&D building. The new facility marks an important milestone in the company’s development and signals a new chapter for Shibeikang in R&D, operational upgrading and international expansion.

Located in Chengdu High-tech Zone, the new R&D building enjoys a favorable location and covers approximately 10,000 square meters and brings together standardized R&D laboratories, smart office spaces, an AI-powered R&D platform and exhibition area, and a research translation center. Together, these facilities form an integrated platform supporting innovative drug discovery, process optimization, quality analysis, medical research and the translation of research outcomes into practice.

With upgraded laboratory facilities, intelligent R&D systems and a more streamlined internal collaboration framework, Shibeikang has established an efficient and agile R&D network capable of generating critical data throughout the drug development process, from early discovery through IND submission. This provides integrated, accurate and reliable in-house data support for global multicenter clinical trials, helping shorten development timelines and improve the efficiency of translating research outcomes into practice.
