Shibeikang Receives “Global Cardiovascular, Cerebrovascular and Respiratory Innovative Drug Company of the Year Award”
During the summit, Frost & Sullivan, a globally recognized growth consulting firm, announced its annual industry award recipients. In recognition of its long-term, systematic innovation strategy in the cardiovascular, cerebrovascular and respiratory disease fields, Shibeikang received the “Global Cardiovascular, Cerebrovascular and Respiratory Innovative Drug Company of the Year Award.” The award highlights Shibeikang’s innovative achievements and growing global competitiveness in these therapeutic areas.

Dr. Guodong Cen Shares Innovation-Driven Full-Lifecycle Solutions
Dr. Guodong Cen, Founder and General Manager of Shibeikang, was invited to deliver a keynote presentation titled Innovation-Driven Full-Lifecycle Solutions, where he provided an overview of the company’s core pipeline and strategic development roadmap.
In the pan-vascular disease field, Shibeikang has established an integrated framework covering prevention, treatment, rehabilitation and disease management, demonstrating the company’s comprehensive strategic capabilities in this area.
In respiratory diseases, Shibeikang’s independently developed SBK001 is the first Category 1 innovative drug targeting MUC5AC. Phase II clinical results demonstrated that SBK001 achieved significantly improved efficacy compared with both standard-of-care therapy and placebo, while maintaining a safety profile comparable to placebo. Shibeikang has completed an End-of-Phase 2 (EOP2) meeting with the Center for Drug Evaluation (CDE), obtained approval to advance into Phase III clinical development, and completed the preliminary ethics review at the lead study site. The Phase III clinical trial is expected to commence soon, with the aim of making this innovative therapy available to more patients.
Shibeikang’s proprietary A-MetaForge™ AI-powered metabolic differentiation platform enables precise identification of metabolic liabilities in drug molecules and leverages AI technology to generate and optimize molecular structures. By designing molecules with optimized properties from the early stages of discovery, the platform creates a dual-path innovation model that combines “predicting potential challenges” with “addressing those challenges,” driving innovation at the source of drug discovery.
