To express our heartfelt thanks for everyone’s hard work and dedication in 2022, recognize outstanding achievements, inspire continued progress, and share our vision and goals for 2023, SBK hosted its 2022 Year-End Review & Awards Ceremony and 2023 New Year Celebration on January 14, 2023, under the theme “Gratitude for Dedication · Inspiring Innovation · Achieving Dreams.”

During the event, Dr. Cen Guodong, Chairman and General Manager, quoted President Xi Jinping’s 2023 New Year message to encourage the SBK team to embrace innovation: “Face the toughest challenges to achieve the greatest goals. Though the road is long, step by step we will get there; though the task is hard, action will bring success. With the determination to move mountains and the patience to wear away stone, by staying grounded and working steadily, step by step, we can transform ambitious goals into remarkable realities.” Dr. Cen delivered a thorough review of SBK’s 2022 performance across five key areas—industry trends, innovation strategy, corporate culture, annual summary and planning, and future outlook—while addressing existing challenges and laying out clear objectives for 2023. On stage, General Manager Cen’s passionate speech inspired everyone, while off stage, colleagues listened eagerly, filled with pride in their accomplishments and dedication, and brimming with confidence in SBK’s bright future!

The team then came together to honor the outstanding performers of 2022—true role models who embody SBK’s spirit of excellence and reflect the dedication of every member. Over the past year, every partner has worked tirelessly in their roles, navigating challenges and overcoming numerous technical hurdles. These obstacles have become stepping stones on our path to achieving our goals and dreams.

Next, Deputy General Manager Tan Shaojun shared his reflections on the meeting’s theme, “Gratitude for Dedication, Achievement of Dreams”. He spoke with deep emotion about the challenging journey SBK has traveled and sincerely thanked all partners for their unwavering efforts. Mr. Tan said, “A thousand words can be summed up in one — gratitude. Gratitude for this gathering, for your dedication, for your trust! We thank all our colleagues for their faith and hard work, and society for its support. In the new year, General Manager Cen, the internal support team, and I will do everything possible to provide the logistical support and services needed, so everyone can focus on innovation with peace of mind. Let’s move forward together and turn our dreams into reality!”

The entire meeting was filled with warmth, excitement, and energy. Everyone was fired up and ready to give their best in 2023, aiming for even greater success! 

Afterward, the event shifted into a relaxed and lively raffle and games session, bringing the celebration to a thrilling peak. In those moments, job titles and positions disappeared—just brothers and sisters enjoying pure, simple joy without a care in the world. Whether playing solo or in teams, everyone got involved—planning strategies and showing off their skills. Two hours of fun-filled games energized the body, deepened connections, strengthened bonds, boosted teamwork, and, most importantly, spread happiness—simple, genuine, and unforgettable!
