SBK Again Selected for the “2024 Sichuan Province SME Development Special Technological Innovation Project”

Recently, the Sichuan Provincial Department of Science and Technology announced the 2024 Special Program for SME Development in Technological Innovation and Venture Investment. SBK’s project, “Clinical and Industrialization Research of SBK001 Injection (Category 1 Chemical Drug) for Acute Lung Injury Treatment”, was one of only three biopharmaceutical projects selected across the province. This marks SBK’s second provincial-level scientific project recognition this year, following the earlier acknowledgment of its key R&D program.

This project focuses on fostering technological innovation and advancing the pilot-scale maturation of innovative products within technology SMEs. To qualify, enterprise innovation projects and products must adhere to national industrial technology policies, demonstrate high technical sophistication, show leadership in domestic markets, have robust independent R&D capabilities, and offer clear intellectual property rights. The project should also represent key technologies or innovative products with the potential to drive significant industry or sector-wide progress.

SBK’s Class 1 novel chemical drug, SBK001 Injection, has earned significant recognition from the relevant authorities for its global innovation, high technical barriers, and exceptional clinical trial data.
